PUBLIC NOTICE
To the residents of Holts Summit
CURBSIDE PICK-UP OF ICE STORM DEBRIS
The City of Holts Summit has contracted for curbside pick-up
of debris from the December 2007 Ice Storm. The
contractor hired by the City shall only pick-up tree limbs
and debris caused by the ice storm. No items or debris
from any other source will be picked up.
PICK-UP DATES
1. West side of Highway 54 - Pick-up will start at 8
a.m. on May 12 and continue through May 16
2. East side of Highway 54 - Pick-up will start at 8
a.m. on May 19 and continue through May 23
SPECIFICATIONS
1. Any debris up to 6" in diameter shall be cut into 6
foot lengths
2. Any debris larger than 6" in diameter shall be cut
into 2 foot lengths.
3. All debris must be placed on the right-of-way for
pick-up. The contractor will not enter onto private
property to pick-up the debris.
4. Any questionable items will be left at the curb and
will be the responsibility of the property owner to dispose
of.
ATTENTION!!!
The City strongly encourages the residents of Holts Summit to
take advantage of the curbside pick-up. After May 23,
2008, the City will start enforcing the nuisance Code by issuing
notices to abate. Property owners who do not abate the
violation will issued a summons to court.
