JOB OPPORTUNITY

The City of Holts Summit is currently looking for a Wastewater Operator.  We are a town of approximately 3000 with a wastewater treatment plant, 3-cell lagoon, and numerous pump stations.  Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a C Level wastewater treatment certification (or the ability to obtain one within a year), a valid Class B CDL with tank and airbrake endorsements (or the ability to obtain one within 6 months), a good work attitude and ability to communicate with the public, and the ability to do strenuous labor in all types of weather conditions.  Heavy equipment operation and general electrical knowledge a plus.  This position requires being on call and working half days on every 4th weekend.  The City of Holts Summit offers health, vision, and dental insurance; paid holidays; vacation and sick leave.  Salary dependent on qualifications.  Contact the City of Holts Summit for details and applications between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday at (573)896-5600, or stop by City Hall located at 245 S.
